 Italy - Sorrento & Naples

So here we are again back into the Italy trip. It has been months since I went but I'm still not done with posting everything because I'm a lazy ass.
It's almost August which means I'm leaving soon for US, and started making plans to meet up with everyone before I go. I'm supposed to meet Nicole later at 1.30pm for lunch and Auntie Mona on Wednesday. Funnily enough, I'm actually gonna meet some of the people I met on this Italy trip this coming Sunday.
I have finally gotten my Visa after much procrastination, and I'll head down to collect my passport later before I meet Nicole.
It was quite surprising because I queued for a very long time and everyone seems to be getting a bazillion questions before their visa gets approved (or rejected). But mine went literally like this:

Interviewer: So, you're going for one year of exchange? Or is it your final year of undergrad?

Me: Final year.

Interviewer: And you'll be studying business courses?

Me: Yes

Interviewer: Alright, I'm going to approve your Visa

Me:... Oh, thank you.

I swear I was so confused as to whether there was more to it but that was really it.

I have started packing most of my stuff, but they are honestly a whole load of junk. Pots, pans, instant noodles, humidifier, sauces, curry, miso, idek what is in that luggage anymore.

Anyway, so back to Italy. This is Sorrento where the richer tourist go to spend a night with a ''perfect view'' of the water. Each night at the hotels cost like $1,000 if I remembered correctly. I'd rather buy a laptop with that money. The happiness lasts longer.

Here's the view of $1,000. Would you pay for that even if you were drowning in riches?

We took the bus up to the town area where we were introduced to some furniture (usual tour package stuff). Before we were let off for free time. So I went shopping with my mum and we ended up buying liquor for her friends. Liquor is really cheap there. I think we bought a Prosecco of 1.5l for 6 Euros. It was the packing that people worry about but we managed to get it snuggly in our used clothes so it didn't break. We did get out luggage slightly overweight though, but thankfully we were let off for that.

I also bought 2 dresses since Italy is known for their fashion and clothing.

Along the streets when we were walking around

Some pictures I took on the bus when we were on the way to Naples.
I love how the sky is really blue and nice.

Then we headed back for Naples for free and easy time again. The good thing about the tour was that there was a lot of free and easy time in between so we could just explore however we like and look at what we want without having to rush here and there.

Castel Nuovo

We drove past this castle the day before but didn't get to really look at it since we were exploring the other end. This time, since it is free time, we went to take a look. There was a museum inside but we didn't want to pay the entrance fee since we weren't too interested in the artifacts. They had this large courtyard and that was pretty much the extent of what we could see without paying for entrance.

There was this really nice tree, and I wanted to take a nice shot of the surroundings but there was someone sleeping there...

Mold on the doors

The courtyard. I think they were filming something there too.

We went to this famous cafe for some snacks and we didn't know what to order so we just order by pointing to the next desk (and I ordered my coffee just based on the fact that it has chocolate). We were really there for the wifi though. The coffee was good but I left it to cool for too long.

Oh well, we went for dinner after that at some Chinese restaurant but food was just meh...

I have started playing PSO2 again recently, and so I screwed up my whole sleep cycle because of that. I missed not only lunch today, but dinner as well. I literally went into hibernation the entire day. I don't even know what I am doing anymore. But heck it xD. Going for Nandos later with Nicole and hopefully that would change my sleep cycle back to what is ''normal'' again.
