 Studies
I've spent the whole day researching on MBA universities and even universities for undergraduates. Sure, I'm already taking an undergraduate study in Business administration right now but my dad just gave me an option to take up a 2nd degree. So it set me thinking. If I were to do that, I really want to do Fashion Merchandising. I was thinking more towards Fashion Design at first. But the more I read, the more I realize I did not want to work as a designer. Or rather, I don't want to work for others per se. So I started searching for Fashion Merchandising. I came down to schools like The New School and Fashion Institute of Technology and the reviews from students were really bad. Somehow, I ended up with Berkeley and Marist which did not sound too bad. If I were to choose, I would take Marist though.

However, after much contemplation and thought, I think I would rather go straight for an MBA. So I started searching for MBAs with Fashion Merchandising as a concentration. Unfortunately, schools offering Fashion Merchandising (and is in fact good with that course), isn't good on the Business side. And universities offering good courses in Business just don't have the option of Fashion Merchandising. Honestly though, I'd rather give up on the Fashion Merchandising then throw away the main focus on the Master's Degree which is Business.

I narrowed down my options to several schools so far as such:

  1. University of California - Berkeley (Haas)
  2. University of Rochester - Simon
  3. University of Buffalo
  4. University of North Texas
  5. Kent State University
So far, I have only checked out the universities in US itself but I'd probably search in other areas like Europe and UK as well. It was only when I checked out the requirements of the 1st 2 schools that I start getting a little demoralized. Berkeley (Haas) is only of the top universities for MBA, so of the students they accepted, the average GPA was a 3.61 with median years of working of 5 years. Simon also has a quite famous Finance MBA program with an average GPA acceptance of 3.46 and average years of working experience of 4.96 years. Right. Remind me again, why am I setting my targets so out of reach?

Anyway, I have pretty much decided to come back to Singapore to work for a few years before taking my Masters once again. I was thinking about going into a bank to work, but now that the merchandising thing has come to mind, I might choose to venture into that.

I think I forgot to take my medicine again. Why does blogging remind me of that all the time?
I can never be a drug addict, that's for sure.

 *Brags*
The marketing mid-term that I took and thought I didn't do too well in with 4 wrongs in my mcq, turned out to be not too bad when in comparison to other scores. I know I probably shouldn't compare results but I just can't help but feel better knowing that I did better than others anyways.

Together with my Short Essay questions, I got 132 out of 150 which somehow or other isn't too bad because the top score was 138. Unfortunately, that made it only a A-, but then considering that there were only 2 As, and 1 other A-, I guess I comfort myself with that fact.
I guess some people might take this as obnoxious bragging (and I really don't deny that it is bragging) but I believe in recognizing our own achievements. Sometimes I buy stuff that I am eyeing for as a reward when I achieve something, and in a way, it serves like a motivation to keep doing better. Bragging may seem bad, it can help boost confidence and make me happier; as long as it is done moderately I guess.

I'm with Rinny again, doing gay shit. Okay, no, I was supposed to study and I have 2 more chapters left to study for tomorrow's test but yea, I'm distracted now. My data though, is now maxed out. I have been doing too much nonsense really. My phone month only ends on the 20th so no data for me till then.

We're meeting again on Friday probably haha. I have another test on Monday. But on the brighter note, it's already almost my 4th week of this semester, which means I only have 3 more weeks exactly before I'm completely done with this semester *Hurrah!*

I have started packing my stuff and I'm mostly putting nonsense together like my cds and caps, or jackets and socks. I haven't got my luggage from the storage yet so everything is in little boxes.
I'll post pictures of them next time, together with the rest of my Italy trip haha.

 Italy - Isles of Capri
Well, what can I say. Things have gotten a little hectic cause of school work and the like and my sleep cycle has gone a little cray cray too. I'm sleeping at like 8pm nowadays and waking up at 6am or so which is so abnormal for someone who usually sleeps at 4am. I took out my wisdom tooth on my right bottom on Wednesday and I went to school like a cute little hamster on Thursday. I still have MC till next Wednesday but I doubt I'd use it since the semester's workload is too much. But guess what, someone forgot to take her painkillers and antibiotics again. I'm like 3 hours late.
Alright, I just took them. It aches a little but isn't too pain. Just that it feels funny to swallow or to sneeze but only because of the swelling.

I had a test last week too for marketing and the answers has been posted. I think I should have like 4 questions wrong? But each MCQ is 4 marks each, so that isn't very good either.

On the other hand, my brother who applied to NUS business, only got into his second choice computing and now he doesn't know if he is going to take it. It's a long story really. He was in University of Genesseo for 1 and a half years before he came back to do his national service but then he found a girlfriend (who, surprise surprise is in NUS business) and suddenly he says he doesn't want to go back to complete his degree for 1 and a half years more. Instead, he wants to stay in Singapore to study in NUS. So, he applied for NUS, but he didn't get into his 1st choice and now we are deciding if he is going to stay or he is going to Genesseo.

I am ending school here in 2nd of July and then I'll start getting ready for NY.
I've started packing a few things here and there into small boxes so I don't miss them out later. Tiffany is back from Buffalo for the Summer but she might be joining us for Fall? Not too sure though, I'm waiting for her response too. So far, only Andrew is definitely going. Sonia might have plans to transfer schools so there goes my potential housemate. If Tiffany doesn't go, I'd be all alone. I don't really mind. I'm fine with living with total strangers just that I take quite awhile to warm up to people. Both in Secondary and then in Uni, I always take quite awhile to really find friends. Then again, this is housemates whom I can't avoid so hopefully it wouldn't be so bad. I just hope they wouldn't be people who do drugs and smoke or something.

I went out with Rinny again on Friday (and last Friday) It's becoming like a little routine kekeke. Anyway, we went to watch Maleficent and X-men last Friday and Maleficent is totally Rinny.
It's so totally her! We were laughing about it in the cinema with me going "That's you, that's so you, Oh my god, that is totally you!" And her going "Yes, yes, yes, stupid little beasty, just die."
We are totally nuisances in the theatres (only when I'm with her tbh). And we get free popcorn and shit but we never finish them even though they are so tiny.
X-men was... meh... Went back in time and stuff but it was not really that spectacular.
We went out again on Friday for ice-skating (totally her idea). It was really funny cause she hasn't gone ice-skating in a long time so she couldn't really ice-skate well so there was me laughing my ass off at her, while she goes Wahhhh and Nooooo. And she crashes into random people and started holding their hands and it was so funny. Some kid even touched her butt and she started fake crying saying she was violated. But hey, I wasn't that mean. At least I didn't let her fall hahaha. So we ended the ice-skating without actually falling even once. We went on to watch Blended (just because we watch movies together all the time). We wanted to watch Godzilla but there wasn't any timings there, so we watched Blended instead.
Comedy. We pretty much started predicting the storyline halfway through.
But well, typical love story.
Anyways, I'm supposed to post about Italy. It has been 2 weeks since I returned from Italy and I'm still on my what... 2nd day in Italy. Amazing. I'm really bad at this whole updating thing I swear. But this is still better than all my previous blogs. At least I still update this once in a while.
So, day 2! It was great for scenery instead of buildings like the previous day. We started the day early because we had to catch a ship at 8.30am if I am not wrong. I really like the sea though. But me being a totally indecisive person, I can't choose between the sea and the mountains. I really do like both. But well... maybe I do like the sea more. It's the same with cats and dogs too. I used to think I was a dog person, until I got a cat. But my cat doesn't act like a cat so... who knows.

We were actually supposed to go to somewhere called the Blue Reflections Cave, and the pictures looks really nice too. But the tide was too high for us to go that day so we had to give it a miss :(
The day started off a little cloudy, but the weather got better as time went by.

We went for some shopping around the harbor front for a little, and we bought some painted tiles. We tried the lemoncello here as well, and some lemon chocolates? Didn't buy any though.
Then, we took a mini bus up the slopes to get to the chair lifts that would bring us all the way up.

A Mini Roundabout

We saw this truck sending fruits to the stalls and they had these tiny little strawberries.
Ticket for the Chair Lift

Somewhere along the trip I realize I like taking pictures of the Sun, and making the rays come out in my pictures. Idk, I like it when my pictures come out bright and I like the Sun too.

It starts getting really foggy because we are literally going into the clouds. It got really cold and I started talking to people who were coming down the other way. Someone told me to take all my pictures now because I wouldn't be able to see anything up there. Another said some thing about a Goat. She said "Goat! Goat! Goat!" And I asked: "Goat?" She said "Yes! Goat!" ... There wasn't any goat up there. Or at least I didn't see any.

We had to hop off the seats because it wasn't going to stop for everyone and it was quite fun.
The whole ride wasn't really that scary if you don't think about horror movies like Frozen or something like that (I did). But it got really cold along the way so I started shivering and stuff, haha. Nothing stops me from getting my pictures though.

I find that I like ice-cream more when it's cold. I don't really like ice-cream as much as other people usually and many people ask me why I don't. But when I was in Italy, I ate ice-cream like everyday. Even up here were it was really cold, I started looking at the ice-cream and one white guy looked at me like I was crazy and asked: Ice-cream? You really want ice-cream now? It's freezing!
Well, it's because it's freezing that ice-cream is nice xD
Lucky number 111
And then we were set on the way back down~

My Halloween socks!

I started taking selfies on my phone along the way down

Anddd we're back
There was this really nice tree in the center in front of where the chairlifts were

We then had lunch nearby, which was ravioli, fish and salad before taking the mini-bus back down

We were given some free time before we left and my mum and I went to this fruits wholesaler and bought lemons, apricots, and a whole basket full of strawberries. There were like 12 boxes so we played Santa and started giving them out to each family of the group. They were really good and big and really cheap too. I think they were like 5 Euros?

We then took another ship to Surrey and this time, there was an open air top so I climbed up immediately. It wasn't that cold luckily, and the wind was really nice.

Sun Shots have since been like a mandatory thing for me

Well, that's enough photo spam for today. I'll get on with Sorrento and probably Naples once again the next time. And we're still on the 2nd day. I still have like 8 more days to cover but there is 1 day of shopping with no pictures, and 1 more day we prepare to fly so no pictures either. That makes it about 6 more days to cover. By the time I'm finished with this, I'll probably have to do the trip to US already xD. Ciaos now!
